
MYRTLE BEACH (SC) – November 18, 2025 -- The Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance is thrilled to announce the return of the annual Downtown Holiday Window Decorating Contest, a festive centerpiece of Winter Wonderland at The Beach. All businesses in Downtown Myrtle Beach (within the Municipal Improvement District (MID)) are invited to join in this beloved tradition and transform their storefronts or office windows into dazzling holiday displays!
"The 2024 contest brought an incredible level of creativity to our streets," Jason Greene, Chief Executive Officer of the Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance, reflects. "The businesses truly outdid themselves, making the season bright for everyone. We look forward to celebrating even more collaborative creativity this year!"
Contest Details
This year’s contest will run from November 27, 2025 through January 3, 2026.
We encourage all downtown businesses to decorate their windows with colorful lights, festive scenery, and a variety of decorative elements to connect with the holiday spirit! Your holiday cheer can stay on display through the end of the year.
For businesses interested in painting their windows, please note per City of Myrtle Beach regulations that all window painting must be done on the inside only.
How to Enter
Interested in showcasing your business's creativity in this year's contest? Simply submit your information to [email protected] to enter! Participating businesses will be assigned a number, and the public will vote for their favorites using a QR code posted at each location.
