The Myrtle Beach area's best holiday celebration is back — and it's better than ever.
Featuring a FREE lights display along a gorgeous mile of oceanfront area along the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, Winter Wonderland at The Beach is a one-of-a-kind event you won't want to miss.
It features free weekend entertainment through the festival such as Santa appearances, caroling and DJ dance parties at Plyler Park.
There's also a Winter Wonderland tree lighting, a Holiday Drone Show, and great shows like Gullah Christmas, The Grinch Who Stile Christmas Live! and much more.

Oceanfront Lights Display

Tree Lighting & First Snow

Join the community for the annual Winter Wonderland Tree Lighting! This festive event will light up the night as the beautiful Christmas tree is illuminated at 6:20 PM, marking the official start of the holiday season in Myrtle Beach. Gather with family and friends to enjoy the magic of the twinkling lights and festive atmosphere. The tree lighting is a perfect way to get into the holiday spirit and create lasting memories.
Twinkling Two-Miler Run

Join us for the Twinkling Two-Miler in Myrtle Beach! This family-friendly night run takes you on a scenic two-mile course, illuminated by dazzling holiday lights and festive decor. Perfect for runners and walkers of all ages, this event brings the holiday spirit to life with every step. Participants receive a glow item, and costumes are encouraged, adding to the fun atmosphere. Celebrate the season in a unique way and make lasting memories at this holiday event!
Gullah Christmas & Polar Express

Celebrate the holidays with two unique events in Myrtle Beach! Begin with Gullah Christmas at Nance Plaza, where Ron and Natalie Daise will share Gullah traditions, music, and storytelling that highlight the Lowcountry’s rich cultural heritage. Then, head over to The Historic Train Depot for The Polar Express, where children of all ages can enjoy hot chocolate, popcorn, Holiday Storytime, and an outdoor screening of the classic holiday film. Bring a chair and blanket for a cozy evening under the stars.
